Diane Murray Seminole, FL - Diane Murray, 75, of Seminole, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Born and raised in Amsterdam, New York, she was a 1966 graduate of Galway High School and moved to Florida in 2000.

Diane had a special way with horses and spent many years working with her father at the family's harness horse racing business in Saratoga Springs, New York. She was also a successful restaurant manager and real estate agent.

Diane was a gifted musician. She became an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Rays when she moved to Florida and enjoyed attending games as a season ticket holder. Diane loved all animals, especially her personal horse, Will, who came to Florida with her. She had a love for all people and her generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, George and Laura Musolff, Diane was predeceased by her husband, Richard Murray.

Survivors include a daughter, Bethany (David) Frankel; four siblings, Judith English, Linda Felton, Susan (Perry) Simser, and George (Charlene) Musolff; a stepbrother, Hank (Missy) Woller; a very special cousin, Kathleen (Jay) Mosher; and three stepchildren, Edward Murray, Brian Murray, and Kimberly Cassin. Diane was a beloved aunt and a dear friend to many.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc., 111 County Highway 106 (Corner of Route 29 & Black Street), Johnstown. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in West Galway Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga Springs.
