European guitar virtuoso

October 25, 2012 - Mohawk Currents

Mike and Hannah McAllister, the folks at SkyHeart Studio in Gloversville, will present a concert by European fingerstyle guitar virtuoso Claude Bourbon this Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Bourbon, who was born in France and grew up in Switzerland, is a classically trained guitarist who performs a blend of Spanish, Medieval, blues and fusion instrumental music. Now based in England, he's performed all over the world.

Tickets cost $20 and include desserts and beverages at intermission. Tickets can be purchased only in advance, either online at or at Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market, 30 N. Main St, Gloversville.

(For a complete listing of this weekend's local arts and entertainment events, see "What's to Do" in the Thursday print edition of The Leader-Herald.)
