House concert coming soon

My musical co-conspirator Roland Vinyard occasionally hosts small folk concerts at his home in Sprakers. He sent the following dispatch about the next event in his Rocky Top Concert Series.

"On Dec. 2nd, Sara Grey, from England, and her son Kieron Means, a New York state resident, will entertain at 5 p.m. Between them, they have a dozen CDs out. Sara is also noted as a student of traditional music and her music often shows the cross-pollination that takes place between the music of the US and the British Isles. There will be a pot luck dinner at 3:30 for those who pre-register, which we hope you will do. It only adds to the fun and gains you a guaranteed seat for the performance.

We are at 597 State Route 162, Sprakers, NY and the sign 'Mort Wimple Associates' gives away the entrance. Without it, Rocky Top can be hard to spot as it enjoys a private setting. We have ample parking and 'everybody gets a good seat.'"
