AARP driving class scheduled in July
GLOVERSVILLE — The American Association of Retired Persons driver safety program classes will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. July 15 and 17.
The classes will take place at the Senior Citizens Service Center of Gloversville & Fulton County, 53 Church St., and at HealthLink Littauer, 220 N. Comrie Ave., Johnstown Mall. The cost will be $10, made payable by check or money order to AARP on the first day of class.
The instructor will be Ray Hatch Jr. For more information, call Hatch at 863-2875.

Ida McGinnis Club to have picnic
GLOVERSVILLE — At the Ida L. McGinnis Club meeting, 40 members were present. The meeting was called to order by Arla Fonda, the club president.
Clare Myzel and Bernie Henderson won the 50/50.
Free food available at local YWCA
GLOVERSVILLE — The Ida L. McGinnis Club has a free food give-away for area seniors from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. each Thursday at the YWCA, 35 Church St.
