JOHNSTOWN — A college student looking for more than a two-year degree no longer needs to leave the county.
Of the approximately 300 students who graduate with an associate degree at Fulton-Montgomery Community College, about 55 percent go on to pursue a four-year degree.
Mary-Jo Ferrauilo-Davis, acting director of advisement, counseling and testing at FMCC, said there are many more options available to students.
“Through our articulation transfer agreements, students can make a seamless transition to over 100 colleges for a four-year degree program,” Davis said.
Davis called the schools FMCC has agreements with “feeder schools” and said it is key for students to have options.
“Our students want to go where they have choices,” Davis said.
