Annual card show slated for Nov. 25
JOHNSTOWN — The 19th annual Thanksgiving Eve Sports Card and Memorabilia Show will take place Nov. 25 from 5 to 9 p.m. This year’s event will take place at the Johnstown Moose Club and feature 60 dealer tables full of sports cards and related memorabilia from baseball, football, basketball, hockey, NASCAR and wrestling. Atlanta Braves pitching prospect Derick Himpsl will be on hand signing free autographs throughout the evening. Himpsl recently won the Appalachian League Championship as a member of the Danville (Va.) Braves. As a middle reliever he compiled a 3-0 record while amassing 37 strikeouts in just 26• innings. Himpsl photos also will be available for signing. Free door prizes of sports morabilia and 20-pound turkeys will be given away throughout the event.
