Well it is true that the people in charge today want to ban all chances of any child being hurt. Football is in the news and with todays ban any and all things that can hurt even one person mentality... the ban on everything is likely to continue. Ummm and who is in charge these days???

Wrestling is the most rewarding sport any school could offer. It teaches hard work, discipline, respect, physical fitness-how many of you have the courage to go out on a mat,ALONE,not with teammates,& proceed to LOSE? In our immediate area, how many student athletes have made it to a Division 1 college playing football, baseball or basketball? In wrestling I can list some-Gwizadowski,Lanzi,Benton,Paris,Meyes brothers, and I probably forgot others. If you've ever met these fellas, you would encourage your children to join a pee wee wrestling club as soon as possible.Any school district or Olympic organization would be foolish to eliminate this sport. But we elected Obama so....

Maybe wrestling would gain popularity if it went back to the original Olympic tradition of nude competitors covered in olive oil. The word gymnasium came from the Greek word gymos, which means "naked."

I never really liked watching to men grab and roll with each other. I say keeping them at arms length and pound them with your fists is a much more manly way to battle members of the same sex.

A small audience translates to few viewer and less money from sponsors for the OIC. Beach volleyball, with lanky female participants who are built like ironing boards and are unable to find shorts that cover their *ss is what American viewers choose to see. Beside, the beach volleyball viewer is more likely to grab some Buds. Isn't that what its all about? Female Jello wrestling would attract a large audience so it may be in the future.
