Danny H. Bovee II

Danny H. Bovee II, age 39, of Bleecker, passed away on May 6, 2008. Danny was born on November 18, 1968 to Danny H. and Cheryl A. Erb Bovee of Bleecker, who survive him. He graduated from Gloversville High School in 1987. He worked for various local businesses including Spaulding Golf, Robison & Smith and Somerset Industries. Danny will be remembered warmly for always reaching out to others and making friends with everyone he met. Danny fought hard to overcome many obstacles he encountered every day. As our hearts are broken to lose Danny, we find comfort in the knowledge that he is at peace within himself, and that he is free of pain. In addition to his parents, Danny is survived by his son, Dakota Bovee, daughters, Brittany Lowell, Hannah and Madeline Bovee, all of Caroga Lake; his grandfather, Carl Bovee of Gloversville; brother, Todd (Katie) Bovee of Fairfax, VA; sisters, Candace S. Horton (Ronald) of Northville, Melissa J. (Richard) Port of Gloversville; also many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; also his ex-wife, Robin Doxtater of Caroga Lake; and his companion, Jennifer Wells of Gloversville and Jennifer’s four children. Danny was predeceased by his brother, Brendan S. Bovee; his grandparents, Jane Bovee and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fox. Friends may call at the Amico Funeral Home, 150 South Main Street, Gloversville on Friday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Williams. Cremation will take place at Leatherstocking Crematory, Cherry Valley, NY. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211.
