Man lured children for sex, police say
GLOVERSVILLE — A city resident was arrested Thursday by city police for allegedly luring two children into a shed and performing oral sex on them. Paul Palcovic Jr., 17, of 237 S. Main St., was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal sexual act, first-degree sex abuse, endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree assault. Police said Palcovic lured two children under the age of 10 into a shed at Elk Street Park and performed oral sex on them. He is also accused of fondling each of the children during the incident, which happened at approximately 8 p.m. Wednesday. Palcovic was located by officers investigating a report of someone harassing Palcovic because of the incident, police said. Palcovic was brought to the Police Department and confessed to his involvement, police said. Palcovic was sent to the Fulton County Jail on $100,000 bail.
