Sally Beatty

Sally Beatty, age 61, of Johnstown, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2008 at Westchester Medical Center, following a long illness.

She was born March 30, 1947 in Amsterdam, to the late James F. Beatty and Mildred Pfliegl Beatty.

Sally was a 1965 graduate of Johnstown High School and a member of Holy Trinity Parish.

She was employed at St. Ann's Institute in Albany until her retirement due to illness.

Survivors include one brother, Michael C. Beatty and his wife Sandy of Johnstown; a sister-in-law, Terry Beatty of Clemmons, North Carolina; one aunt; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, James S. Beatty and Thomas "Moe" J. Beatty.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown. Rev. Kenneth Swain, Pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, will officiate.

Friends and family may call on Thursday prior to the service from noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in her memory to Holy Trinity Parish.
