Arraignment slated in Rail Trail murder

JOHNSTOWN - Randy L. Green, who has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the August stabbing death of Raymond Pike, is scheduled to be arraigned before Judge Polly Hoye at 11 a.m. Dec. 19 in Fulton County Court.

Green, a 27-year-old Gloversville resident, was indicted Monday on six counts including second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, criminal possession of a weapon and felony tampering with physical evidence.

Pike, 63, who was a registered sex offender living in Gloversville, was found dead on a bridge on the Rail Trail early Aug. 15. Green was arrested later that same day.
