Anthony and Venita Christiano of Gloversville recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. The couple were married on October 10, 1959, at the First Presbyterian Church in Gloversville. The couple chose a quiet remembrance with immediate family.

Celebrating with their parents were the couple's sons, Jon and Jane (Ross) Christiano, of Essex Junction, Vermont, Richard Christiano of Gloversville, and Anthony P. and Anne (LaPorta) of Boonville, N.Y.

The couple's daughters include, Karen (Chip) Lachenauer of Freehold, N.J., Claudia (Denton) Lake of Gloversville, Maureen Christiano of Watervliet and Jeanine (Sal) Falco of Malta, N.Y.

The Christiano's also have 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
