GLOVERSVILLE - The Gloversville American Legion Auxiliary Harold Wilmot Unit 137 will distribute poppies from Friday through Sunday.

The poppies, made by veterans from fabric, are offered to the public and worn in honor of the nation's war dead.

The poppy sale proceeds will benefit the disabled and needy veterans and widows and orphans of deceased veterans, according to a news release.
