Vikki Pettit, daughter of Robert and Heather Pettit of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Carlton J. Wilson Jr., the son of Carlton J. Wilson Sr. and Pamela J. Wilson of Palmyra, Va. at 2 p.m. Feb. 20.
The ceremony took place at the Gloversville Wesleyan Church. The Rev. Larry Johnson officiated.
The bride was escorted by her children, Alan Michael and Alaina Marie Downing.

The maid of honor was Alaina Downing of Gloversville, daughter of the bride. The matrons of honor were Brenda Smith of St. Johnsville and Christina Freeman of Verona, Oneida County. The bridal attendants were Jenna Bruce, Rachel Platt of Gloversville, nieces of the bride. The junior bridesmaids were Elizabeth Freeman, goddaughter of the bride and Shelby Freeman, and the miniature bride was Ryane Freeman, all of Verona.
The best men were Scott Wilson Sr., brother of the bridegroom and Andrew J. Wilson, son of the bridegroom, both of Johnstown. The ushers were Jordan J. and Tyler A. Wilson, sons of the bridegroom, and Alan M. Downing, son of the bride, all of Johnstown. The junior ushers were Scott Wilson Jr. and Pacey Wilson, of Johnstown, nephews of the bridegroom. The miniature bridegroom was Griffin McNeely, of Gloversville, nephew of the bride. The ringbearer was Isaiah Freeman of Verona, godson of the bride.
The soloist was MeLisa Johnson of Gloversville.
A reception for 75 guests took place at the Concordia Club.
A wedding trip was taken to Virginia Beach, Va. The couple resides in Johnstown.
The bride is a 1986 graduate of Gloversville High School and is a homemaker.
The bridegroom is a 1988 graduate of Johnstown High School. He is an account manager at Great Rentals.
