Richard and Peggy Lee of Gloversville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 1 at the Concordia Club, Gloversville.
The party was hosted by their three sons and their wives, Rich and Stacy Lee of Johnstown, Scott and Theresa Lee of Gloversville and Todd and Tami Lee of Meco; and their 11 grandchildren.
The former Peggy Hanson and Richard Lee, both of Gloversville, were married Oct. 28, 1961, at the Fremont United Methodist Church. The Rev. Luther A. Patton officiated. The attendants were Carmella Johnson, matron of honor; the late Edward Johnson, best man; Fran Savage and Dick Boyd, ushers.

The music for the party was provided by DJ Mark Winslow. The dinner was served to the 100 friends and family who attended.
Dick Lee worked for General Electric for 35 years, retiring in 2000. He enjoys golfing and riding his Harley. Peggy Lee works for Frontier and has 42 years of service. She enjoys golfing and crafts. They both also enjoy watching their grandchilden play sports.
