CAROGA LAKE - Royal Mountain Ski Area will host its annual open house Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Discounted season passes and day passes as well as ski school information and Sno-Bunny registration will be available. Season passes also are available at Alpin Haus until Nov. 15.
Once again, numerous snowmaking and grooming upgrades will be found at Royal, as well as improvements to all three chairlifts, new rental equipment, lodge upgrades and work on all trails, including the glade areas.
According to a news release, more than $500,000 has been invested in skiing and riding at Royal Mountain over the last five years.
Free refreshments also will be part of the open house.
