AMSTERDAM - The New York Multi-Arts Centers Consortium will present its Spring Conference, titled "Best Practices: Maximizing Your Organization's Potential," on April 23.
The event will be held at Centro Civico, 143 E. Main St., from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Registration is open to staff of all arts centers statewide.
The conference fee is $65 for NYMACC core members, $80 for NYMACC associate members and $100 for non-members until Monday. After Monday, it will be $80 for NYMACC core members, $95 for NYMACC associate members and $115 for non-members.
The one-day conference provides directors and staff of multi- arts centers with support, information and inspiration, a news release said. The conference includes experts in non-profit management, advocacy and community building through the arts.
The conference also provides an opportunity for networking, peer-to-peer mentoring, group collaboration and time to share ideas for developing NYMACC's programs, services and membership benefits, the release said.
