JOHNSTOWN - The Johnstown High School Class of 1946 celebrated its 66th anniversary Sept. 17 at a luncheon at the Holiday Inn. There were 23 members and guests who attended.
Marie Kitchen Valachovic was the mistress of ceremonies. Alan Cole gave both the invocation and benediction. A moment of silence was held in honor of 67 class members who have died.
Peggy Follett Koloss and Valachovic read the humorous readings and anecdotes.
Joe Russo, class treasurer, sent his best wishes from Georgia.
Those attending agreed to meet in September 2013 to celebrate the 67th anniversary.
Jerry Hamm suggested the committee members who arranged the luncheon - Marilyn House Johnson, Beverly Pitts Cole and Tret Zilka Sweet - be in charge of the next reunion.
Following the benediction, the school victory song was sung.
