Amy Lynn Herba, the daughter of Thomas and Patricia Herba of Perth, was united in marriage to Ryan Michael Toole of Apalachin, Tioga County, the son of Thomas and Kate Toole of Homer, Cortland County, on Aug. 7.

The ceremony took place in Myrtle Beach, S.C., at Crescent Beach. The Rev. Harold Mitchell from Together Forever Weddings officiated. The bride was escorted by her parents.

A reception took place at the Chestnut Hill Restaurant, Myrtle Beach.

The bride is a graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School. She is employed by the Binghamton City School District, Broome County, and is a second-grade teacher.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Owego-Apalachin Central School District. He is employed by Broome-Tioga Board of Cooperative Educational Services and is a network specialist.
