Violet Harper Gorman, shown at 1 day old, is the daughter of Katy Whittingham, formerly of Johnstown, and her husband, Michael Gorman of Wareham, Mass. She was born at 5:40 a.m. Sept. 20, weighing 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 20 inches long.
The maternal grandparents are Marla Whittingham of Johnstown and the late David Whittingham.
The paternal grandparents are Kristine and Ernie Bourgeois of Dartmouth, Mass., and the late Paul Gorman.
