JOHNSTOWN?- The Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery Board of Cooperative Educational Services recently accepted two federal Workforce Investment Act grants totaling $204,167.
One grant, for adult education and literacy programs, was in the amount of $101,910. The second grant, for services provided to incarcerated and institutionalized people, was in the amount of $102,257. It is for teaching incarcerated youths and adults about civics and health.
Both grants will be directed by Laurie Bargstedt, BOCES' coordinator of adult literacy and corrections education.
