The Leader Herald

JOHNSTOWN - A group of local residents will collect winter coats, sweatshirts and other items for downstate victims of the recent storms. Items to be donated can be brought to the Dunkin Donuts parking lot off North Comrie Avenue in Johnstown between 8 and 11 a.m. today.

Organizer Greta Cronin Frasier said she and other concerned citizens will accept winter coats and hoodies of any size as long as they are in good condition, and she will arrange to have them distributed to people in need in New York City and New Jersey.

For more information, see her at the drop-off location this morning (Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012) or call her at 775-8727.
