My family and I went to two amazing concerts by the Gloversville Community Music Wind Ensemble recently at the Glove Performing Arts Center, under the director of Joshua Thompson. The group is a new hybrid ensemble consisting of professional and collegiate musicians alongside talented area student musicians. Both concerts were amazing; we didn't want it to end.
I want to thank Joshua for starting this ensemble for area musicians. My daughter is one of the student musicians and this ensemble has taught her a lot. I believe it will help her in the future to become a better musician.
I look forward to more concerts and I hope that more community members will come out and support them. They will not be disappointed.
