A very heartfelt thank you to everyone who turned out to support me in my re-election campaign for the Assembly.
Thanks, too, to everyone who put signs in their yard, collected petitions, donated so generously, and offered encouragement and good wishes as I traveled throughout the far-reaching district. I met many new people who were supportive in so many ways.
Finally, I must say my opponent, Joseph Chilelli, conducted himself as a true gentleman. In an era when politics seems to be becoming more personal and more antagonistic, our campaign - as it should be - was about ideas and issues.
Thank you all for giving me this opportunity. I promise to work hard to make you satisfied that you made the right choice.
