H.S. Bowling Roundup: Mayfield bowlers sweep Fort Plain

CANAJOHARIE - Tyler Dawson rolled a high game of 203 on his way to a 564 series to lead Mayfield to a 4-0 win over Fort Plain in a Western Athletic Conference boys bowling match at Iroquois Lanes on Monday.

Nick Kiszka added a 233-547 for the Panthers, while Alex Colby rolled a 192-524.

Kyler Duff paced Fort Plain with a 195-501.

Mayfield finished with a 2,535-2,087 edge in the total pin count.

In the girls match, Virginia Johnson rolled a 234-549 to lead Mayfield to a 4-0 win.

Carly Poyfair added a 181-512 for the Lady Panthers, who finished with a 2,208-1,629 edge in the total pin count.

Beth Mallett rolled a 196-503 to lead Fort Plain.

Canajoharie bowlers top BKW

COBLESKILL - Bailey Pitonza rolled a 245-584 to lead Canajoharie to a 4-0 win over Berne-Knox-Westerlo in a Western Athletic Conference boys bowling match at Cobleskill Lanes.

Chris Parino posted a 233-575 for the Cougars, while Damon Mason added a 216-570.

Canajoharie finished with a 2,838-2,147 edge in total pins.

Derek Hempstead rolled a 206-479 to lead Berne-Knox-Westerlo, while Greg Gustafson added a 172-438.

In the girls match, Canajoharie posted a 3-1 win over Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

Sierra Vosburgh rolled a 163-393 to lead the Lady Cougars, while Kiara Putnam posted a 139-381.

Faith Gaddis posted a 130-366 to lead Berne-Knox-Westerlo, while Mattrix Miller added a 151-363.

Canajoharie finished with a 1,598-1,472 edge in total pins.
