Mr. Stephen T. Fosman, 31, of Mayfield, passed away suddenly at his residence on November 20, 2012. He was born July 14, 1981, in Gloversville and graduated Gloversville High School. A loving family man, Stephen enjoyed cooking and baking for his family. He loved hiking the Adirondacks and his dogs, Rambo and Squirt II. An avid sports fan, Stephen especially enjoyed the Giants and Yankees. He had been employed for the past ten years at Hannafords; for the past two years in Amsterdam as grocery manager. His comedic approach will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Stahl Fosman of Mayfield, whom he married July 2, 2011. He is also survived by his mother, Ramona Kulwiec Fosmire of Gloversville; and his siblings, Christine Frank (Trey) of S. Dakota and their sons, Jordan and Cedric, Rich Fosmire (Amanda) of Oneonta and son, Jacob, Daniel Fosman (Erica) of Fonda and son, Anthony, Keith Fosmire (Alisa), David Fosmire, Robert Fosmire, Matthew Fosmire and Thomas Fosmire, all of Gloversville. Additional survivors include aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, with Stephen's uncle, Reverend Richard Kulwiec, officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Johnstown at the convenience of the family.
