Shortly after, he attended Ryder College, graduating in 1982 with a degree in business administration.

Following graduation, Mark went into the family business. He worked there for many years before going into many businesses he owned and operated. He built, and operated five laundromats in New Jesey and New York, two mobile home parks and two campgrounds, Wading Pines Campground of Chadsworth, N.J. and Halfmile Ranch of Lake Luzerne.

He also successfully operated several contracting companies. Mark belonged to several competitive pistol teams in New York and New Jersey and was considered an expert marksman. Mark was a past member of the Galway Fish and Game Club and the National Assoc. of RV Park and Campground owners.

Mark loved shooting pistols, and rifles. He enjoyed motorcycle trips, driving real fast, skiing and just about any fun you could think up. He had an infectious laugh and a rare gift for helping many people and expecting nothing in return. He will be sorely missed by his friends and family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Martha.

Survivors include his brother, Patrick of St. Regis Falls; sister, Colette Parsons and her husband, Mike of Lake George; along with two nephews, Charlie and Brett Parsons; and his former wife, Margaret Von Rudenburg-Rogers.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012, at Sacred Heart Church, Lake George.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to and may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2012, at the Regan Denny Stafford Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's name may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
