Canajoharie boys lose to Greenwich
GREENWICH - John Barnes finished with 20 points to lead Greenwich to a 59-47 win over Canajoharie in the championship game of the Greenwich Tournament on Saturday.
Greg Scott posted 17 points for the Witches (4-0 overall), while Colin Oswald added 14 points.
Zach Folts scored 14 points to lead Canajoharie (1-1 overall), while Zach Bowerman finished with nine points.
In the consolation game, Waterford-Halfmoon posted a 55-29 win over Galway.
Josh Orton scored 32 points to lead the Fordians, while Troy Anderson added 10 points.
Evan Ceroalo and Dan Diaz each scored seven points to lead Galway.

MAYFIELD - Trailing by 14 points heading into the fourth quarter, Mayfield rallied for a narrow win over Mekeel Christian Academy in a non-league game Saturday.
Dylan Toscano hit a 3-pointer with 4.1 seconds remaining to win the game for the Panthers. It was the fourth 3-pointer of the game for Toscano, who finished with 19 points.
Ryan Hennessy added nine points for Mayfield (2-1 overall), while Luke VanNostrand finished with seven points.
Caleb Stewart scored 16 points to lead Mekeel Christian, while Spencer Bath had 12 points.
Mayfield will host Fort Plain on Tuesday in its Western Athletic Conference opener.
