SCHENECTADY - Izaiah Brown won three events, leading the Amsterdam boys indoor track team to a second-place finish at Sunday's league indoor track meet at Union College.
The Rams finished with 97 points and the Broadalbin-Perth Patriots were seventh with 20 points.
In the girls' event, the Lady Rams finished fifth with 36 points and Broadalbin-Perth was ninth with 17.
Brown won the 300-meter dash with a time of 36.5 seconds and the 600-meter run in 1:32.7. In the field, Brown won the high jump, clearing 6-0.
Teammate Connor Kilgallen was third in the 600 with a time of 1:38.6. Broadalbin-Perth's Mike Visco was fourth in the high jump, clearing 5-6.
Anthony Stewart won the 1,000-meter run with a time of 3:02.9 and Matt Raponi took fourth. Nick Raponi was second in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:55.7 with Broadalbin-Perth's Greg Bogdan coming in thrid with a time of 4:57.2. Teammate Hunter Martin was sixth in 5:31.7.
Bogdan had the Patriots' best finish of the meet 10:52. Amsterdam's David Gravely was fourth in 8.3 second in the 50-meter hurdles.
Amsterdam's 3,200-meter relay team was second in 9:24.8 while the Patriots finished sixth in 10:22.6.
Amsterdam's 800-meter relay team was seventh.
Chris Rost finished second in the 45-meter dash with a time of 5.8 seconds and Ryan Farley was fifth in 6.1 seconds. Rost was fourth in the long and triple jumps with respective distances of 18-11 and 34-7 3/4.
For the girls, Amsterdam's Kelly Paris won the 300-meter dash in 45.4 and Illenis Quinones won the 1,500-meter run in 5:28.3
Broadalbin-Perth's Chelsea LeBlanc was second in the high jump, clearing 4-10, while Amsterdam's Cassandra Robataille was fifth with a jump of 4-6.
Amsterdam's Madison Janetsky was second in the long jump, reaching 12-11 1/4.
Broadalbin-Perth's Coreena Monroe was fourth in the 1,000-meter run in 3:34.1 and Emily Montan was sixth in the 3,000-meter run in 12:52.6. Anna Smith was fifth in the shot put with a throw of 29-8.
Amsterdam's McKenna Palczak was fifth in the 50-meter hurdles in 9.1 seconds. She also was sixth in the triple jump, reaching 25-6 3/4.
The Amsterdam 3,600-meter relay team was fifth in 4:52.1 and the Lady Patriots' 800-meter relay team was sixth in 2:09.6.
