AMSTERDAM - The Kristy Pollak Memorial Christmas Lights event is back for its 14th season, a news release said.
The lights are lit each evening from Nov. 21 to Jan. 1 from 5 to 10 p.m.
"Special celebrations" will be held Friday and Saturday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will arrive on a fire truck at 6:30 p.m. Visitors will be able to take holiday train rides through the light display and horse and wagon rides as well.
Donations will be accepted in lieu of an admission fee to benefit Make-A-Wish Northeast New York, the release said, to help fulfill wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions from Fulton and Montgomery counties.
In the past year, 10 children from Fulton or Montgomery Counties received wishes, the release said.
