YMCA announces Special Days

JOHNSTOWN - The Fulton County YMCA recently announced that Special Days will be held Dec. 26 to 28 and 31at its facility, 213 Harrison St., as part of the School Age Child Care Program.

The "Special Days" program provides child care during school vacations for children ages 5 to 13 from any school district between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Activities will include gym, swim, arts, crafts, cooking, dramatic play, games, Zumba, dance party and science.

Each child must bring a nut-free lunch and two snacks, bathing suit and towel, sneakers and water bottle.

The preregistration fee (up to two days before) will be $15 for members, $25 for the public. The registration fee after that will be $25 for members and $35 for the public.

Space is limited and same day registration is not guaranteed, the news release said.

Special days will be held again Jan. 21 and Feb. 18 to 22, a news release said.
