Please help VFW post

December 5, 2012
The Leader Herald

Time to return many favors. Veterans of Foreign Wars Bernard Kearney Memorial Post 2077 has been a true friend to Fulton County for many years. It has sponsored benefits of all kinds. It has helped victims of fire, flood, disease, storms, violence, theft and more in both war and peace time. There have been tributes at countless veterans' funerals.

Four generations of the Trippodo family have served this country. All are respected by and at Post 2077. Uncle Ross is named on the wall there for his supreme sacrifice on "Sulfur Island:" Iwo Jima.

Is it not time for Fulton County to hold a benefit to aid and save the post? The loss of this establishment will be tragic to all of U.S. Please help.
