JOHNSTOWN - A Gloversville resident pleaded guilty Thursday in Fulton County Court to four drug counts and is due to receive state prison time.
Mark E. Passino, 51, of 66 Washington St., pleaded guilty before Judge Richard C. Giardino to two counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He had been indicted by a county grand jury on those counts in August.
Sentencing was adjourned until a later date, but Passino is expected to receive three years in state prison as part of a plea arrangement
He was initially charged May 31 in Gloversville with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance after long-term investigations by Gloversville police and state police in the case, police said.
