GLOVERSVILLE - City police said a woman was charged Sunday after allegedly slapping and punching a taxi driver.
Haydeeliz C. Lugo, 19, was charged by city police at 6:20 a.m. Sunday with second-degree harassment after an altercation with a Glove City taxi driver on Forest Street, police said.
Police said officers were called to the scene at 25 Forest St. and learned Lugo allegedly slapped and punched the male taxi driver. The driver did not suffer any injuries from the altercation, police said.
Lugo was issued an appearance ticket for City Court later this month.
