Marion Irene Zambri

Mrs. Marion Irene Zambri, age 85, passed away Friday morning, December 14, 2012, at her home in Gloversville, following a long illness.

She was born November 30, 1927, in Port Lydon, N.Y., the daughter of the late Harvey and Jeanette LaQuay Rogers. She also was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Anthony Zambri; her brothers: Raymond and John Rogers and a sister, Joan McMaster.

Marion is survived by: her son, Benjamin Zambri (Stacey) and her daughter, Sheryl McCue (Doug); her grandsons: Anthony and Benjamin Zambri and John McCue, all of Gloversville. Also surviving are: a sister, Beverly Rogers of Baltimore, Maryland, several nieces and nephews.

She was employed for several years in private businesses with her husband. She was last employed as a cook by the Fulton County Infirmary until her retirement.

In keeping with Marion's wishes there will be no viewing. Cremation will take place followed by a private service at the convenience of the family at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown, with the Rev. Dr. R. W. Williams officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078.
