FORT?PLAIN?- The village of Fort Plain, under the direction of the Fort plain Community Activity Council, will host the Tri-Village Last Night Celebration on Dec. 31.
This year, the theme will be "It's Not the End of the World but a New Beginning," according to a news release.
The button design chosen by the committee for this year's event was submitted by artist Hannah Learner. Other designs were submitted by artists Joanne Resch and Bob Buck.
The purchase price for buttons will be $7 for adults. (The cost will be $1 for a child's wrist band for those ages 10 and younger.) The purchase of a button or wristband will allow the holder entrance to any of the events hosted by the Last Night Celebration Committee. Without the button, people may still attend any of the venues for a $10 cover charge at that venue.
The events will take place at different times and locations throughout the village. A shuttle-bus service will help people move between the sites.
The main headquarters will be at 47 Main St. in the Diefendorf Building. At the headquarters, people can obtain maps and schedules.
