JOHNSTOWN - Several appointments are due to be made at the Common Council business meeting at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
Mayor Sarah Slingerland is slated to make five appointments to the city Plumbing Board. The council also is slated to make two appointments to the city Board of Health.
In other action, the council will consider approving a contract with James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society. The council also will consider advertising for bids to sell obsolete vehicles and equipment.
