Rosina Voudry, 96, of Gloversville died Wednesday morning at Wells Nursing Home, Johnstown. Born in Gloversville, June 18, 1916, she was the daughter of Michael and Bridgit Capparello. She was a glove sewer who worked for many glove shops in the area, retiring from Perrella Gloves many years ago. An avid bingo player, she enjoyed bringing her grandchildren with her, wherever she played. She was a communicant of the Church of the Holy Spirit. Rosina was married to Paul Voudry, who died in 1979. Survived by her daughter-in-law, Lynn Voudry of Gloversville; brother, Carmin (Ann) Capparello of Florida; three granddaughters, Lisa Summerfield of Gloversville, Rebecca (Todd) Brownell of Edinburg; and Kristie (Richard) Case of Ephratah. Rose was a great-grandmother to many children. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs Voudry was predeceased by: a son, Richard in 2009; her brothers, Dominic, Anthony, Nicholas and Emillio Capparello; and sister, Mary Daniels. Friends may call Friday from 9 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. at Amico Funeral Home, 150 South Main St., Gloversville, where a prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m. followed by a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at the Church of Holy Spirit. Spring interment will be held in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contribution may be made to the Church of the Holy Spirit Building Fund.
