GLOVERSVILLE - Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital and Ruby & Quiri are continuing to accept donated items on behalf of those who are suffering from damage caused by Superstorm Sandy.

The two businesses are asking people to join in the relief effort to help thousands still affected by the superstorm that devastated coastal New York and New Jersey.

Donations can be dropped off at Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital, Ruby & Quiri or Grandma Millie's Bakery during regular business hours until Wednesday.

Donations needed include baby food, formula, diapers, non-perishable food, bottled water, toiletries, new clothes, especially winter clothes, begs, cleaning supplies, batteries, flashlights, non-fabric furniture, and gift cards to Lowe's, Walmart, Home Depot, Target or any universal Gift Cards. Used clothing will not be accepted.

Building supplies also are needed. Hammers, sheetrock, plywood, nails tape and spackle also will be accepted.
