Paula Marlitt

Mrs. Paula Marlitt, age 81, of Gloversville, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012.

She was born July 8, 1931, in Mayfield, the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Lawrence Gray. She was a devoted mother and loving wife.

Paula is survived by: her husband of 51 years, Delbert Marlitt; six children, Barbara Warner (James), Wendy Marlitt, Deborah Marlitt, Gordon Marlitt, Daniel Marlitt and Christine Marlitt, all of Gloversville; five sisters, Mary Jane DeVoe (Ralph), Dorothy Trumbull (David), Florence Achzet (Douglas), Rosie Gray and Vivian VanDerwerker (Jim); and a brother, Edward Gray (Carol). Also surviving are 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Kathaleen Marlitt.

The family will receive relatives and friends from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, January 4, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will take place in the spring at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
