MAYFIELD - Mayfield Central School will host alumni basketball games on March 2.
There will be a boys and a girls alumni game. There also will be skills challenges (free throws, dribbling/passing and 3-point shooting) for students (fifth- through 12th-grade) and alumni.
Students and alumni may register for the skills challenges at 3:30 p.m. on the day of the event. The skills challenges will begin at 4 p.m. The girls alumni game is slated to begin at 5 p.m., while the boys alumni game will begin at 6 p.m. A second game may be added if sign-ups allow. Younger alumni will be in the first game, while older alumni will play in the final game.
The registration fee for the alumni games will be $10 per participant, which includes a T-shirt. Participants must register by Feb. 22.
Admission will be $1 for students and $3 for adults.
Children age 10 and younger will be admitted free. There also will be a 50-50 raffle and a half-court shot during the final game.
All proceeds will benefit the Mayfield athletic department.
