FMCC women defeat SCCC, 73-55

SCHENECTADY - Kassandra Flowers scored 25 points to lead the Fulton-Montgomery Community College women's basketball team to a 73-55 win over Schenectady County Community College on Saturday in a Mountain Valley Conference game..

Grace Rutagenwa had 13 points and 21 rebounds for the Lady Raiders (15-2 overall), while Sherice Gayle finished with 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Tierney McGlynn scored 16 points to lead Schenectady County (9-7 overall), while Amsterdam graduate Monique Pucci scored 13 points.

FMCC will host Onondaga Community College today at 1 p.m. The FMCC men will face Onondaga today at 3 p.m.
