Why is it so hard to thank and recognize someone for doing something good for the children of the Gloversville area?
It seems that, as in the past and present, the Common Council of Gloversville does not have any interest in doing anything good or worthwhile for the children. It happened with their skateboarding area, the city pool, numerous playgrounds, and now, the sign for the ice rink.
I applaud Mr. Sherman for doing such a very generous thing for the children of the city, and I would be ashamed to have anyone on the council be my representative in City Hall.
Why can't the council appreciate the children and those who do for them, and make the people of Gloversville proud of their elected representatives?
