Girls Basketball Roundup: Mayfield edges Schoharie at buzzer

MAYFIELD - Nicole Little hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift Mayfield to a 44-43 WAC crossover win over Schoharie on Wednesday.

Little finished with a team-high 12 points for the Lady Panthers.

Kylie Manoogian finished with 11 points for Mayfield (6-11 overall), while Alex Sheldon scored nine points. Jen Little added six points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Panthers.

Lauren Archer scored 12 points to lead Schoharie (6-10 overall), while Hannah Bowersox and AnnMarie Sacket each finished with 11 points.

NORTHVILLE - Stephanie Rice scored 21 points to lead Duanesburg to a WAC crossover win over Northville.

The Eagles led 16-7 after one quarter on their way to their fourth straight win.

Maddy Kenyon finished with 16 points for Duanesburg (12-5 overall).

Lyndsey Wadsworth scored 15 points to lead Northville (6-10 overall).

ST. JOHNSVILLE - Rylie Smith finished with 14 points and eight rebounds to lead St. Johnsville to a WAC crossover win over Sharon Springs.

The Lady Saints outscored the Spartans 25-15 in the second half to earn the win.

Samantha Cleveland scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for St. Johnsville (2-14 overall).

Renee Handy scored nine points to lead Sharon Springs (0-17 overall).
