Parking prohibition approved for street

February 13, 2013
The Leader Herald

GLOVERSVILLE-The Common Council conducted two public hearings at its meeting Tuesday on the proposals to prohibit parking on Monroe Street and place a stop sign on West Fulton Street at its intersection with Rose Street.

Neither public hearing had any public comment. Both ordinances were unanimously passed by the Common Council.

Officials said residents complained about limited space for traffic on Monroe Street, and the city received complaints about the West Fulton and Rose streets intersection needing a stop sign instead of a yield sign.
