Tamara J. Martinez, 49, of Schaghticoke, died suddenly on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at her residence. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Shirley Mitchell Church and the devoted wife of Albert Martinez of Schaghticoke. Mrs. Martinez was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School and was employed by Computer Science Corporation of Menands as a customer service representative. She was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors in addition to her husband include: her children, Glenn Martinez and Kasey Martinez of Schaghticoke; brother, Kenneth Church (Denise) of Speigletown; sisters, Deborah Murphy (Kevin) of Gloversville, Colleen Murrisky (Kevin) of Troy, Linda Pratt (Bill) of Troy and Amy Church (Nelson Rivette) of Speigletown; and sister-in-law, Kala McSweeney (Timothy) of Selkirk. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited and may call at the Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 870 Second Avenue (124th and 125th Streets) in Lansingburgh on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m. The interment will be at the convenience of the family.
