Royal J. Vaillancourt Sr. "Roy," 87, of Farmingdale, N.Y., died on March 6, 2013.
He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Lillian; loving father of Roy Jr. (Nancy), Gary (Patty), Dennis (JoAnn), Gail Hymers (Scott) and Glenn; proud grandfather of eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Saturday and Sunday at the Arthur F. White Funeral Home Inc., 315 Conklin St., (Hempstead Turnpike) Farmingdale, NY 11735.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 11, 2013, at 10:15 a.m. at St. James R.C. Church, Seaford.
Interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery.
