Police: Man broke victim’s laptop

GLOVERVILLE - City police said officers arrested a man on St. Patrick's Day after he violated an order of protection by shoving the victim to the ground and breaking a laptop.

Norman G. Lamphear, 30, of 9 Union St., was charged by city police with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, third-degree attempted assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief, both misdemeanors.

Police said Lamphear shoved the victim to the ground multiple times, and broke the victim's laptop by throwing it on the ground.

Lamphear was arraigned by City Court Judge Traci DiMezza. He was sent to Fulton County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
