Voters pick mayor in village election

HAGAMAN - Voters picked a new mayor for the village Tuesday.

Both the mayor's position and two seats on the Board of Trustees were being contested.

In the mayoral race, according to a news release from the village, incumbent Martin Natoli lost against former trustee Michael Shover with the final vote count of 144-101.

For the Hagaman Board of Trustees, two seats were available and three candidates were vying for the positions, including Kathleen Louer, Payl Fryzel and Richard Conti.

In a close election, Louer and Fryzel were victorious, with Louer collecting 149 votes, Fryzel collecting 150 votes and Conti getting 146 votes, according to the news release.
