JOHNSTOWN - In their first meeting this season, the Amsterdam and Johnstown boys lacrosse team combined for five goals in a 3-2 home win by the Rams on March 28.

In the second meeting between the teams, Amsterdam topped that total on its own in the first half on its way to a 13-2 victory at Knox Field.

The game also was a fundraising effort for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by Johnstown, which raised more than $1,800 for its cause.
