JOHNSTOWN - In their first meeting this season, the Amsterdam and Johnstown boys lacrosse team combined for five goals in a 3-2 home win by the Rams on March 28.
In the second meeting between the teams, Amsterdam topped that total on its own in the first half on its way to a 13-2 victory at Knox Field.
The game also was a fundraising effort for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by Johnstown, which raised more than $1,800 for its cause.

Dan Banewicz had three goals and an assist for the Rams, who improved to 7-1 overall on the season.
Matt Fedullo had three goals and two assists for Amsterdam, while Hector Diaz, Anthony Yevoli and Jon Magaletti all finished with two goals and two assists.
Isaiah Martin also scored for the Rams, while Corey Dybas had two assists.
The Rams dominated the first half, outscoring the Sir Bills 6-0 and outshooting Johnstown by a 16-4 margin.
Fedullo and Diaz scored first-quarter goals for Amsterdam, which led 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. Magaletii, Yevoli, Martin and Banewicz scored in the second quarter.
Johnstown slipped to 2-6 overall.
